Candidate Requirements
What’s the role?
You will be responsible for:
Underwriting of new quotes and renewals
Assisting with administration
Liaison with London, and Insured, regarding the above
Any FI/Cyber/Crime queries from clients, brokers and / or London / Whitehall Court
Processing on Aladdin, and issuing of policy documentation
Renewal reminders
Investigation and resolution of accounts queries
Ad hoc projects relating to FI/Cyber/Crime
Co-ordinating / managing the CRM project
Operate within allocated mandate
Monthly report writing
Investigation and resolution of accounts queries
Articles for Weathervane and industry related publications
Monthly LAB training
Broker meetings and training
Attendance at various marketing initiatives/industry functions
Interaction with auditors – both Camargue’s auditors and Lloyds’ where required
Regulatory requirements such as RE exams; as well as work towards further insurance qualifications
When travelling outside of Gauteng, set up itineraries, arrange broker meetings, etc.
Ad hoc marketing input in respect of marketing activities
Getting involved in strategic projects

Graduate
RE1
Insurance certificate
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry
Established network of contacts in the insurance industry
