JOB DESCRIPTION: LEARNERSHIP PROJECT MANAGER

Reports to:

Skills Development Manager and Corporate Director

Position Summary

The Learnership Project Manager oversees and administers all Learnership training activities to ensure that Learnership theory and practical training is conducted according to ETQA requirements.

This individual needs to be an expert on Learnership: compliance criteria; reporting processes; assessment; moderation; verification; certification and record administration.

The position requires collaboration with external entities such as SETA’s, ETQA’s, Lead Employers and Host Employers. It also entails collaboration with internal managers of the Academic, Student Operations and Skills Development departments.

The post necessitates an ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with learners in order to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Signing of Learnership agreements with respective SETA’s and ETQA’s;

Ongoing liaison with SETA; ETQA; Lead Employer/s; Host Employer/s and relevant stakeholders;

Developing and maintaining relationships with Lead Employer/s; Host Employer/s and relevant stakeholders;

Liaison with Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators on an ongoing basis to gain status updates, to identify any risks/problems and resolve these;

Completion and delivery of all necessary SETA and ETQA reports;

Drafting of detailed theory and workplace training schedules in collaboration with the Academic and Student Operations departments;

Compilation of monthly progress reports and final closure reports;

Ensure an ongoing familiarity with Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports;

Learner Recruitment;

Learner supervision and support;

Management of learner attendance;

Administration of learner attendance registers and learner records;

Sourcing and management of facilitators, assessors and moderators;

Administration of all formative assessments, summative assessments and workplace assessments;

Quality Assurance;

Ensuring the supply of all training material such as training manuals, formative assessments, summative assessments and workplace assessments;

Constant collaboration with the Student Operations, Academic and Skills Development teams;

Uploading of learner results;

Administration of the certification process with the ETQA;

To contribute towards building an excellent Learnership delivery team;

Uphold and communicate the organizations Quality Management System;

Adhere to policies/procedures for the Maharishi Institute;

Continuously striving to grow and learn more;

Embrace Maharishi Institute’s approach of Consciousness-Based Education

Experience and Education Required:

Registered Services SETA Assessor and/or Moderator

3 – 5 Years Learnership project management experience

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Facilitation experience is advantageous

Comprehensive knowledge and experience pertaining to Learnership reporting, record keeping, quality assurance, compliance, training, assessment, verification and certification.
