HIGH COURT AND MAGISTRATE COURT OFFICER Wanted: Salary R349 998 yearly
Provide support to the Litigation Manger in the provision and management of the RAF litigated matters in the hands of the panel attorney and outside 15km radius
Key Performance Areas
Conduct Preliminary assessment of litigated files
Recommend a litigation strategy and action to bring the matter to finality
Monitor litigation plan and strategy
Escalate matters with litigious disputes to pleadings processes
Provide panel attorney with file content for trial preparation
Report on trial out comes and out of court settlements
Qualifications and Experience
B Degree in Law at NQF Level 8 or equivalent
Admission as Attorney or Advocate of the High Court
Relevant 3 years’ experience in the claims/litigation environment
Technical and behavioral competencies required:
Knowledge /skill in court rules and litigations
A good understanding of the organization’s litigation infrastructure , service provided and customers/user
A good understanding of the organisation’s business and how panel attorneys effectively to contribute or are to contribute to the RAF litigation processes.
Statistical, numerical and analytical principles and processes
Excellent communication skills orally and in writing
Awareness of RAF vision and Strategic/business objectives
Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ethics ad governance
Customer orientation and customer focus
A total cost to company of minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is R349 998.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.
