Maintenance Planner wanted immediately: Salary R25 000 to R35 000 Per Month

Reporting to Maintenance Manager
Through Professional knowledge and specialist individual expertise creates and reviews the maintenance plans and jobs, by updating and reviewing changes, in order to optimize utilization of engineering resources, in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager. Ensure that the scope of practice is met with regards to current Good Manufacturing Practice and OSH Act and Safety Regulations in line with local and international requirements
Matric certificate and trade tested or tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical, or related field.
Must have at least 3 years Planning experience within FMCG maintenance planning environment with Pragma experience
Key Job Outputs
Manages the Pragma Onkey 5 Preventive Maintenance system, and submits system management reports to Management.
Analyses trends, failures and costs by gathering information regarding breakdowns and recommend changes to improve maintenance effectiveness.
Maintains a technical library of equipment manuals, test certificates, correspondence and technical information.
Ensuring optimal availability and performance of the plant and equipment reliability.
Develop, review and update all maintenance schedules for the plant including facilities maintenance.
Planning and scheduling of resources required for execution and ensuring proper execution of all planned maintenance work.
Develop, plan and execute annual, quarterly, weekly and daily equipment maintenance schedules.
Compile and allocate planned maintenance activities, including shut downs. Identifies and plans work to be completed during plant shutdowns.
Develop and execute yearly shutdown Plan
Contractor Management and minor project management.
Arrange resources i.e. spares, tools, materials and personnel as part of planning process
Ensure quality of spares received at the stores by checking compliance to drawings, specifications, manufacturing processes, etc.
