Yoco is looking for a vibrant, fun-loving individual to join the People Admin Team.

As the Office Administrator for the Johannesburg Hub, you will ensure the JHB Hub is a welcoming and open home for the Yoco Team, our merchants and partners. This means you will have a wide variety of responsibilities ranging from organizing fun treats for the team, managing office processes and tasks to ensure that our office runs smoothly and the team can do their best work. As well making sure the office is fun yet productive place for the team to work in.

Are you able to wear many hats, take initiative, get creative and successfully land tasks – big and small? If the answers to all these questions are ‘yes’ then this could be the position for you.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position

ROLE | WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

Key Responsibilities:
Support our employee’s happiness, wellness and their ability to do their best work.
Influence and drive office and company culture through events, activities and team buildings.
Prepare new Employee’s onboarding administrative tasks.
Perform administrative tasks and ad hoc requests assigned to you by the Office Manager.
Assist colleagues in making sure they have work peripherals they need and make sure they stay within budget.
Liaise with company suppliers to ensure we are remaining within the budget allowance for the respective areas.
Ensure the cleaning staff are keeping up a level of cleaning standard and care for their well being.
Coordinate ordering and recording of all inventory in the office including office supplies, food items, and hardware.
Recon office expenses with the Finance team.
Organizing office layout & maintaining office conditions, arranging repairs, etc
Initiating and promoting an Eco-friendly office environment.
Assisting with travel arrangements.

IDEAL CANDIDATE | WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Key requirements to perform responsibilities:

2 – 3 years of strong Administration experience (preferably in a similar role)
Creative and motivated approach to tasks.
High energy levels.
A well-rounded person that’s flexible and able to support others.
Ability to work and execute tasks independently – we like it when you take initiative.
Ability to connect with different types of individuals.
Able to firmly assert themselves when necessary.
A proven problem solver.
Organized and with good attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexible in our dynamic environment.
Tech-Savvy.
