Follow-up with e-mails/phone calls/orders etc.
Liaise with suppliers for pricing and assist with quotes/proposals when required.
Sort documents/paperwork and categorize before passing on to the financial manager.
Liaise with the operations manager to coordinate collections and deliveries.
Follow-up with clients (RE: quotes, order, payments, appointments).
Collect timesheets, collate and submit for invoicing.
Provide general back-office admin support.
Assisting with filing.
Assist with personal items (arranging, phone calls, etc.).
Assist with arranging of events.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience required
At least a matriculation certificate.
Excellent computer literacy essential (formal qualification an advantage).
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
A dedicated individual that enjoys administration.
Maintains a high quality of work at all times and pays close attention to detail.
A self-starter that is able to work alone.
Ability to work under pressure and remain focused.
A well-presented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Excellent telephone and e-mail etiquette essential.
Ability to deal with unfamiliar tasks and still deal with them efficiently and effectively.
A quick thinker that can deal with unfamiliar technical terms.
Ability to take detailed notes in a short space of time (e.g. while on phone call).
Ability to work after hours or on weekends (occasionally) to assist with events.
