Leading Supplier & Manufacturer of Building Materials – Excellent Opportunity for a Procurement Specialist with a focus on developing his career.

Career path prospects to develop into the role of General Manager.

Criteria

Matric + Completed Business related degree
5 – 10 years exp. in a Manufacturing environment (Building Industry)
5- 10 years exp. as an Operations/Procurement Managerial role
Proven Leadership exp.
Strong Financial Acumen – Accounting/Budgets/Audits
Exceptional Relationship and Supplier negotiation Skills (English/Afrikaans)
Stock Mgt. Stock rotation
Integrity, trustworthy, problem solver, can-do attitude
EXCEL – Advanced level (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s and HLookups)

The Primary focus initially is the Procurement of Building Materials (raw materials) – building and maintaining supplier relationships.

Liaison with production re: stock levels and when/what to order.

Stock Mgt. and Rotation, Packing, Costings, Budgets.

The long-term career path is to develop into GM role.
