Job Purpose:
Responsibilities include the day to day review of all technical deliverables in order to prevent mistakes and defects in products or services offered to customers. It comprises systematic measurement of a number of indicators of quality, the comparison of deliverables against a standard using a range of methodologies, the monitoring of different consulting processes and the management of a critical feedback loop that confers error prevention.
The QA Analyst is expected to execute the QA methodologies and scripts, ensuring all items are reviewed and prioritised in an efficient manner. Being a point of contact for reviews and providing feedback on methodologies and scripts to improve efficiency. Working directly with the QA Manager and Head of Practices’ to ensure all deliverables are produced to a high standard and in line with the guidance notes and licensing requirements.
Assist with the development of our consulting technology to reduce the amount of manual and repetitive labor ensuring full adherence to our Security Programs guidelines.
Job Description:
Technical review of all deliverables produced by the Consulting and Penetration Testing teams.
Maintaining the QA Deliverables queue and schedule in line with set QA SLA’s.
Liaise directly with consultants and provide feedback on deliverables reviewed.
Development of guidance documents for continual improvement of the QA process.
Provide feedback and updates for methodologies/scripts to ensure alignment with the different compliance programs (ISO, PCI SSC, SWIFT, etc.)
Collaborate efficiently with other teams to deliver organizational objectives.
Demonstrate qualities inline with the Foregenix values.
Critical Competencies:
BS level technical degree preferred in Computer Science or Math; MS degree is a plus
Technical understanding of networking and network architectures
Technical understanding of cryptography
Technical understanding of Software Development
Enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g. ITIL v3 processes).
Designing, building, and operating global IT infrastructures.
Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards like PCI DSS, SOC-1&2, ISO 27001, HIPAA.
Meticulous in attention to detail
Diligent and thorough in reviewing all deliverables
Process-oriented and self-motivated with being happy to carry out routine tasks
Fluent English written and verbal
Experience:
2 Years IT technical security experience
Basic knowledge of PCI-DSS, SWIFT SCP and/or other IT Governance Standards (COBIT,ISO, ITIL, etc.)
Previous QA experience (desirable)
Basic understanding of audit/assessment processes
Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems (desirable)
