Performance:

Demo technical aspects of products to prospective clients.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our products and the customer specific problems they solve.
Assist in the discovery process with potential customers.
Assisting course development, with development of appropriate training materials.
Arranging and delivering course materials in the form of workshops / individual sessions.
Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement in software and to attention of relevant people.
Provide telephone and email support to clients.
Logging, prioritising and acting on calls via the Point of Rental SoftwareCRM system (Salesforce).
To be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and bringing these ideas to the attention of the relevant people and to assist in the development of the Service Desk procedures and knowledge base.
Documenting software features and business processes for use as knowledge base articles or customer fact sheets.
Treating all customers and colleagues with respect and demonstrating a commitment to the Point of Rental Software’s Equal Opportunities Policy
Participating in testing of new releases of POR products.
Be a first line support for key customers in helping them network with the UK to get the answer they need.
Be on the ground training support to supplement trainers in the UK office.

Key Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build relationships with clients and effectively coach them.
Enthusiasm for technical challenges.
Strong interest in software / IT / technology.
Patient mind for addressing technical issues under pressure.
Fast learner.
Knowledge of SQL Server, Server 2003 and 2008 and Terminal Services (RDP) as well as PC/client Operating Systems is all an advantage.
Windows server shares and permissions.
A successful track record in application support.
A strong knowledge of Microsoft environments and have proficient problem-solving skills.
Good customer service skills and confidence on the phone.
A strong desire to learn and explore new areas of technology.
Excellent attention to detail.
Able to follow processes.

Profession Competencies:

Knowledge of the Hire Industry advantageous.
SQL Knowledge Advantageous.
Software Knowledge Advantageous.
Team player.
Customer-centric.
