Significant and relevant working experience serving as an advisor in a regulated market (financial services, public sector, energy, education, heathcare, service provider).
Bachelor’s Degree in related area of study.

We are looking for independent, passionate, and deeply experienced professionals in the content development and project management arena to provide depth in assisting our partners, customers and their stakeholders to understand and address their security, regulatory and compliance requirements in moving their sensitive workloads and heavily regulated data into the cloud.
This key position requires specialized experience identifying and supporting regulated customers compliance requirements and efforts. The position will have high visibility at the most senior levels of government agencies, institutions, and AWS including frequent interaction with Regulators, CISOs, CTOs, their staffs, and AWS senior leadership. The position, as part of the AWS Security Assurance team, will act as the primary Security Assurance Regulatory interface into jurisdictions through out Africa.
The candidate will already have and continue to foster key relationships, be able to interpret the impacts of policy changes, and track and report on industry trends.- Ability to investigate and analyze technical and regulatory issues. – Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent communication with peers and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience managing projects through completion, across multiple areas of ownership, and delivering consistently on schedule.
Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Travel may be required 30%-50%.
