A well-established company, specialising in crushing and drilling services within the construction and mining industry, requires the above to oversee business operations in two countries and to manage two plants, reporting into the Owner.
Minimum requirements for the role:
Previous Operations or General or Site Management experience having worked within the Engineering or related industries managing a business from all aspects is essential.
Tertiary Qualification in either Mechanical or related Engineering degree or Diploma is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience having worked within the Crushing or related industries having managed a team of people on various plants or sites or mobile plants is preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing engineering projects and maintenance and refurbishment of equipment.
Managing two plants, procurement, wear check (oil sampling) and all projects at the workshop.
Working in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Providing operational support and guidance to staff.
Forecasting of works to be completed and reporting thereof.
Reporting on project progress and project completion on various engineering projects.
Maintaining and managing all operating procedures on operational activities.
Ensuring that project targets are met.
Ensuring that health, safety and quality standards are met or exceeded and is maintained at all times.
Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
