The Kitchen Studio is looking for a Quality Assurance and Site Supervisor to join our team in Johannesburg.
As a Quality Assurance and Site Supervisor, your primary function will be to effectively supervise, monitor and report on on-going kitchen and cabinetry installations in Gauteng.
Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
Conduct site inspections before installations commence to ensure sites are ready for installations to commence;
Conduct site inspections during the course of installations in order to identify quality issues before the job is complete;
Review and interpret plans for new installations and identify possible issues before you visit the site to inspect the site readiness;
Explain any issues identified to the assigned fitting team and ensure that any such issues or problems identified on site are communicated to that fitting team;
Liaise with customers to schedule site inspections and site readiness checks;
Ensure that sites are ready for installation before components are delivered on site;
Regularly communicate with fitters on site to determine the status and progress of installations on an ongoing basis;
Compile lists of shortages and snags for on-going installations and, submit these shortages and snags to the relevant installation manager;
Follow up on and monitor the completion statuses of issues identified on-site.
Matric/Grade 12 certificate;
Tertiary Degree/Diploma preferable;
Minimum 2 years’ management experience in the joinery, carpentry, kitchen, cabinetry and/or shop fitting industries; and
Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite – specifically Word, Excel and Outlook).
Salary dependent on qualification and experience.
