The successful candidate will be responsible for writing social media posts, moderating different platforms, engaging with communities and influencers, creating reports and optimising content. Social Media Management, Customer Relationship Management, Reporting, Analytics And Tracking form the purpose of this role. ü Be the voice of a brand on social media platforms
ü Write engaging posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and WordPress
ü Have strong grammar and pay close attention to detail
ü Understand media and targeting capabilities of the different social platforms
ü Identify opportunities to create and optimise content
ü Work closely with influencers to create and share content
ü Meet tight deadlines and work well within a team
ü Create tactical content with quick turnaround times
ü Be comfortable using social media tools to post and measure content
Requirements – The successful candidate must be/have:
Matric, Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a full-service Digital Communications or similar role.
Experience in managing Social Media accounts for brands: Content Creation, scheduling, targeting, tracking and Online Relationship Management (ORM).
Experience utilising platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Website (WordPress)
Adobe, Photoshop, web development and graphic design background advantageous
Experience in delivering web-based applications/products for clients.
Experience in Customer Relationship Management, and building brand journeys with brand advocate customers over time.
Own Vehicle essential
Obsessive attention to detail and massively organised.
Understanding of all marketing disciplines – Digital, Branding, Online etc.
Outgoing, confident and client centric
Ability to lead others and be calm under pressure.
Self-starter – high energy, ability to get stuck into projects
Creative, enthusiastic, well articulated and well presented.
Social Media Management
Extensive ability to post, schedule, boost and manage posts on social media platforms via both native and third-party means.
Advanced understanding of social analytics, reporting on engagement rates and suggesting optimisations based on content perform per audience per platform.
Advanced understanding of demographic and audience segmentation data in order to target posts efficiently and effectively for maximum quality reach and engagement.
Staying on top of social media trends, algorithm updates, general updates critical to brand success on social media.
Customer Relationship Management
Understand and appreciate the value of the direct brand to customer communication in recognising and rewarding top brand advocates.
Propose and implement selection criteria for customers to be profiled into different reward tiers by brand.
Identify and manage top brand advocates lists from general consumer databases and constant communication with brand ambassadors to ensure relationships are well managed.
Identify and implement communication steps and chains applicable to customers at different stages of the CRM journey to drive conversion through tiers.
Reporting, Analytics And Tracking
Understanding of Google analytics and UTM tracking tags.
Understanding of key email open and performance metrics
Conversion funnel set up, and goal seeking (beneficial).
Ability to produce concise monthly reports on all facets of digital being managed, and offer insights/analysis on how to evolve and improve each month.
