Duties & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 (NQF level 4)

REQUIREMENTS: 1.3 to 5 years Stock Control / Management experience essential 2. Pastel Evolution experience a must 3. A tertiary qualification will be advantages

SKILLS:
Analytical and problem-solving skills Team PlayerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Ability to interpret and document solutions for stock related problems Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Able to work independently and give feedback regularly.

CORE DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this job is to manage the stock in all branches by making sure accurate stock takes are done Quarterly and daily cycle counts are done. Investigations is required on all stock discrepancies and proper Stock control systems are adhered to.

KEY FUNCTIONS:
Daily Cycle Counts in all regions Manage and Capture Stock TakesStock Take Variances InvestigationsStock checks and resolving queriesRegional Reorder (Sending Stock to Regions)Maintaining Minimum Stock Levels in regions Movement of Damages in all regions Manage Bin Locations Stock Journals Counting of PackagingStock checks for Customer claimsConduct weekly stock meetings with Warehouse & OperationsManage Cycle Counters daily and follow up on progress Management and implementation of policies and procedures for stock department This job description entails the above but is not limited to the above list of functions.
