Key Responsibilities:

To ensure efficient and effective supply chain service to internal and external customers by managing the Packaging Component Inbound (AOS) warehouse
Budgets are prepared in consultation with the Manager according to department requirements.
Input into capex process and motivations
Manpower requirements are identified for cost effective operations
Reviews monthly variance reports (Budget vs. Expense ratios)
Methods for improving Stores Controller services are proposed, developed and continuously updated
Customer Service is managed and monitored via key performance indicators
Internal and external customers are continuously updated as to the progress of their queries.
Ensure downtime reduction targets are met
Ensures that departmental visual performance measures are maintained and updated
Strives to achieve agreed lead time
Reduce waste
Department outputs required are communicated to staff as per company strategy
Corrective and innovative action to plan is taken when required
Material Handling Equipment is assessed/evaluated to improve output and reduce cost
Ensure that SOP’s are updated
Ensure that staff is certified competent to prescribed GMP levels
Ensures that staff training is updated and relevant to changes in the material handling industry

Stock Controller
Operational requirements and production needs are assessed against stores operating plan
Resources, equipment and facilities are acquired and maintained as fit for purpose for maximum productivity
Ensure daily performance measures are distributed to all customers
Audit of inter-department transfers
Baan entries are audited
Cycle counts are monitored
Annual stock takes are planned and managed
Inventory adjustments are scrutinized and supporting reports are generated
AOS warehouse is managed to acceptable GMP, GWP and SHE principles.
Candidate Requirements

National Diploma/Degree in Logistics
5 years’ Stores/Logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Supervisory experience essential
Formal Business Qualification an advantage
Computer literacy – MS Office, BAAN
