Reporting to: Business Development Manager

Job Purpose: As a telesales consultant, you will act as a liaison between our business and the customer in order to establish trust, increase knowledge, and drive more telesales for Nimble Group. In addition, the telesales consultant will be responsible for daily cold calling and introducing the Nimble brand to all our prospective clients.

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Under the management / direction of the Business Development Manager, the Telesales Consultant will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Manage an existing client base
Provide daily support to clients
Provide monthly feedback reports
Organically grow the customer base through upselling and cross selling
Schedule sales appointments with current and prospective customers
Maintain in-depth product knowledge and educate customers about all our products and services.
Generate and track new leads to continue expanding the reach of the business
Identify innovative ways to introduce Nimble business to all our prospecting clients.
Collaborate with other key industry players to develop and implement new sales strategies
Meet with other associates and telesales consultants to discuss innovative ways to effectively sell to customers
Constantly seek new ways to make products more attractive to current and prospective customers
Demonstrate advanced telesales knowledge, and stay up to date on all company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

A matric qualification
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a related Sales (business to business) and Customer Service role, telesales experience is preferable
Must be able to deal with technical product information i.e. Business Process Outsourcing and Accounts Receivable Management
MS Office experience at a basic – intermediate level
MS Word
MS Excel
MS Outlook
Working experience on a CRM system would be advantageous
Working experience on the Norman collections system would be advantageous
South African citizen
Credit and criminal clear

WORKING HOURS

Monday – Friday: 08h00 until 17h00
