The leading bridal, special occasions and men’s formal wear business in SA is recruiting for a Meet & Greet/Receptionist at their Bride & Co Rivonia store.

Main duties and responsibilities
Reception
Answering telephone calls
Respond to emails within an allocated time given by your superior
Attending to Online Bookings
Maintaining diaries
Arranging appointments
Taking messages
Typing/word processing
Filing
Organising meetings
Using a variety of software packages
Implementing and maintaining procedures/ administrative systems
Ensuring that attendance registers are always up to date.
Liaising with staff, clients and support office
To ensure that the front desk is kept neat and tidy at all times, and before your shift ends
Ensuring that attendance registers are always up to date.
Attend and assist with quarterly stock takes
Meet and Greet
Welcome clients by greeting them, and requesting registrations to be completed
Capturing registrations
Assigning a consultant to every customer, or alternatively schedule an appointment for them.
Involvement with monthly VIP Customers/Champagne evenings
Cashier
Scan items and ensure pricing is correct
Dispense correct change
Take money in the form of cash or card
Processing EFT’s
Issue receipts, refunds, and credits, with authorization from your superior
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct, and to ensure there is adequate change.
General
Please note that your duties may vary from time to time and that you shall be required to comply with any reasonable request made of you during working hours.
Your appointments require flexibility as you may be transferred within branches from time to time, within your province.

Training:

If / when required by management you will attend training courses which may take place during working hours, after working hours or over weekends

Requirements:

Matric
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Computer literate & knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
Knowledge of POS systems
Well organized and methodical
Attention to detail, sound analytical skills
Well-mannered and well-groomed
Presentable and professional
Enthusiastic, proactive with a helping nature
Customer focussed
Able to work flexible hours
